...is for Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee boots with bold silvertone studs and grommeted buckle straps.

"Wow, those are badass boots", one of my co-workers said as I walked in late for a meeting.

I was so tempted to reply back, "Oh thanks!!!! I found these at Saks and I really liked them the first time I tried them on. But I thought it was too pricey so I passed at first. Then later that day, it was so difficult to concentrate with work coz they were all I could think of and so after office, I immediately went back and bought them! I'm so glad I did coz I really like them soooo much! It's got all the elements I wanted for in a boots this season: buckle, studs, platforms and it's over-the-knee! And you know even if this over-the-knee fad fades, I could still wear them by folding the top and revealing the rich, supple gray leather underneath!"

But then it was a formal meeting with 7 of us in the room so I just smiled and graciously said, "thank you."

Here's a few ways I styled them since I got them.

Not only did they pass the styling test but they also passed the comfy test. Even at 4 inches, I could wear these boots all day without an aching feet after. I even tried walking 10 blocks wearing them and was still alive after. And hey, if Fergie could rock, dance and jump around with these on, maybe I could even run a 5K wearing these studded, grommeted & buckled platform beauties, why not?!

  1. Great buy! I love all the ways you styled it, but particularly the jacket/jeans/tee way...I could see myself wearing the exact same outfit. *SIGH* Now I'm wondering if I am going to ever take the plunge with the OTK boots. You've made them look even more tempting!!

I love the way you style it with those different looks. I'm having a problem finding tall boots which fit me because I have small feet but...uhurm... healthy legs. Eeek!

I must say, your boots are a steal! :)

    Have a nice day!

  5. These are the most perfect thigh-high boots ever! I absolutely adore them :) And the beginning of this post made me laugh out loud. I have gone on and on about clothes before until I realized no one cared... so it's probably best you didn't say anything lol

And I LOVE how you styled them - especially the black dress and side ponytail! Awesome!

  7. Grace, thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm happy to be following your blog now and hope you can stop by again soon.

Your boots are HOT! Love all your outfits, especially your last one - brilliant move to have the eyelet skirt as a top!

Oh btw, my husband's family is in Manila so I'm really excited to meet them for the first time. We hope to go to Cebu as well (hopefully scuba dive). It should be fun!

  15. Mmmh Chère Grace you know, I Frankly think that a Fashionista MUST always succumb into a "Fetish Temptationn", especially when this One tends to adorn her Dazzling Sweetness on such electrifying attires, AND on such a versatile "I can match it with Everything I want" way !!!
    ps: Hope you're Well Dear.

  18. Grace, those books look so fabulous on you! No wonder you couldn't keep your mind off them when you went back to work. It seems like you're getting a lot of wear out of them so you should be happy with the purchase. And they look great on you as well so whatever price you paid, I think it's worth it! I really like how you styled it with the t-shirt and blazer. It's a great causal look but also sexy and sophisticate because of the boots and blazer. I really like all the looks that you created, Grace.

I can relate to you with being busy. I've been so busy with work and it's quite exhausting at the end of the day and the last thing I want to do is blog yet it's kind of what I do for leisure to take my mind off the day. I'm having a hard time keeping up with people's blogs and replying to comments. But have no fear, Grace, I'll always stop by to leave a comment whether it long or short :)

Hope you're having a good week, Grace. Me, not so much but it's almost over. Talk to you soon.

  27. Congrats on your fab new boots! Love them! I really need to get my act together and get the ones I've been eyeing or they'll be gone (I just don't feel like spending money at the moment... haha). I like the fact that they can be folded as well, which just makes them so much more versatile. Oh, and love your imaginary answer to your co-worker ;-)
